Madera Rotary's Annual Halloween Ball Fundraiser, Costume Contest, & Online Auction

For over 20 years, Madera Rotary has hosted its annual Halloween Ball Fundraiser in October at Madera District Fairgrounds' Hatfield Hall. It's a beloved community event that raises thousands of dollars for community projects and groups in Madera and around the world. The 2023 Halloween Ball and Online Auction raised over $20,000 for our general fund - thank you!

What is the Halloween Ball Fundraiser?

Madera Rotary's mantra is "Doing good and having fun" and this event is a perfect example of that. It is our biggest event of the year, with up to 300 costumed guests, and includes:

Catered Dinner
DJ and Dancing
A well-stocked bar with beer, wine, and cocktails
Costume Contest: So many creative and elaborate costumes vying for honors
Games and Prizes

The Madera Rotary Annual Online Auction: Two Weeks Every October

Began in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Online Auction was Madera Rotary's way to continue community outreach and fundraising, with donations from Rotarians and local businesses, including merchandise, trips, hosted events and much more.

It continues to this day as a way for Maderans to support Madera Rotary's fundraising efforts but who are unable to attend the Halloween Ball.


How can you help? The best way to support Madera Rotary is to buy tickets for you and your friends and come party at the Halloween Ball! There are plenty of other ways for individuals, groups, and businesses to support the event: Become a Presenting, Bar, or Dinner Sponsor: Get your business name prominently displayed. These sponsors also receive free tickets, a logo decorated table, and vouchers to the bar. See below for more information. Sponsor a table: Buy a table (10 tickets) and get a logo decorated table Donate an item for the Online Auction: new merchandise, trips, special events, food, tickets. Anything is appreciated Donate smaller items for raffle/door/costume prizes: gift certificates, branded merchandise, etc.
